Crohns support group, also known as IBD, bowling party!

Since Austin was diagnosed with Crohns we have been attending a monthly support group. We go to the hospital, meet in a room and talk with other people who have Crohns.
This month they did a bowling party instead of a formal meeting. As a family we went a little early and ate dinner at the Pizza Factory, a favorite of ours.

Best bread sticks in the WORLD!!!!

We got ours with extra cheese :)

 Let the bowling begin!
Um...this is a skull bowling ball they had at the shoe rental counter...interesting.

This is where the fun begins...
Let me introduce you to some of the people in our group:

Amy, and her family

 Brittnee and her family

 Katie and her mom
And our group leaders, Ingrid and Rick.......some how we didn't get a picture of just those two!!!
I am so SAD:(  We did get them in the background of a few....so I will point them out haha.
Enjoy the random festivities that happen when you bowl!

Kambrees bowling style.
This is my STRIKE dance ;)

 Austin and his buddy Katie
 There is Ingrid...just watching :)

Paige and Shawntell take great selfies

Paiges fabulous dance moves!

Look there is Rick...getting ready to bowl in the lane right next to Paige.

Katie did this cool design on Paiges hand.
Austin is the only child that attends this group. It is actually the only group in Utah, yet there are over 300 kids with Crohns just in the Salt Lake Valley. I don't know why more children don't attend, maybe it's a lack of knowing this group exists, or maybe they just don't feel a need for it. But if you know of anyone who might be interested in coming please let me know, I will gladly give you the information:) the more the merrier in my opinion.

Looks like you had a fun night. It's always good to have friends who have some of the same problems. Love you!
