End of school year awards

When you are in 9th grade they have a separate awards assembly...they call it "The Oscars"

Paige received an Oscar for her fabulous achievements in Language Arts. She had quite a school work load this year. She was a Student Body Officer, took one AP class, still did her dance class, and had a calling in her Mia Maid class at church. She is a very dedicated and goal oriented young lady.

 My little miss Shawntell also received an award for being on the Student Council. She also did amazing in her school work this year. She was on the honor roll every term and still participated in various extra  activities outside of school.

These girls make me so proud. They are self motivated and hard workers. I never have to get on their case about doing their homework. I want to be like them when I grow up :)

First pedicure...not given to me by someone I was related to haha

For my birthday my amazing friend ,Candice, took me to get my very first professional pedicure. 

The foot tub was fun, the chair that massaged your back was amazing, the leg and foot rub was perfect...

But I have runners feet...more importantly runners toes! They are ugly, calloused, and I am lucky some of the toe nails haven't fallen off. When the lady giving me my pedicure was scrubbing my feet she wanted to make them look pretty. Runners feet can never be pretty, she was so confused as to why I didn't want all of that scrubbed off.

It was a fun adventure and I am so glad Candice got to be there with me for my first time :)
