We really don't have any graves to go and visit that are close by. So this year we went up to the Salt Lake City Cemetery and found President Hinckleys marker. It was a fun outing for the kids and the weather was nice.

13th wedding anniversary/Good things Utah
Yes I do have the best husband anywhere. He surprised me this year for our anniversary and had my mother take the kids over night while we got to stay at a bed and breakfast. We had dinner at the Timber mine, up one of Ogden's canyons. It was so much fun.
We stayed in the Alaska Room. He brought strawberries and whipped cream to eat (my favorite) and they had sparkling cider and cookies waiting for us in the room. 13 years has gone by way too fast. I can't imagine my life without him. I think about what the next 13 years will bring and that makes me too old, and too many teenagers. My oldest will be 23 and I could be a grandmother. WHAT?????
This next picture was taken at the ABC 4 studio. Shawn loves, loves, loves King of Queens. So we stood next to the paper cut out of Doug. He almost looks real. This is my 10 year old and my sisters 10 year old and me. And I got the "Cool mom of the year award" for letting Paige skip school to have a day with the moms.Posted by Kristy at 5:17 PM 3 comments

The Lady runners!
This was the morning of the "Sisters" first run. The husbands also ran but they beat all our times by a long way, so they get no picture posted :( We ran up in Pocatello and had a great time. About 20 minutes after we were done running it down poured. It rained so hard that is sounded like a river.

Red Butte Garden.
This is what we did for FHE. It was a great day to go. There were hardly any people there. We walked around for about 1 1/2 hours and the weather was great. We had one of those passes from the library so we only had to pay for 2 of us to go and the rest were free. Not sure we would go if we had to pay the regular price.
No we are not tilting to one side, we used the timer on our camera and that is the only position we could get it to stay in. Also the sun was right in our eyes so everyone is squinting...except those who were smart enough to wear sunglasses!

Baptism day.

So this is child #2 baptized. Man it is making me feel old. Shawn messed up on the prayer and had to say it twice, but that made it memorable. We had lots of friends and family that came and helped us celebrate. It was a wonderful day. I am so proud of Shawntell, she has been so excited for this day. Next on the list of things to do: getting her ears pierced!

She is 8!
My sweet girl is growing up so fast. Here are the 8 great things about her.
1. She is so sensitive (usually a good thing, sometimes it is a bad thing).
2. She loves to make friends.
3. She loves to help around the house.
4. She loves saving her money.
5. She loves to draw.
6. She likes to play basketball.
7. She loves the color purple.
8. She loves to dance, and she is very good at it.
I love this girl so much. Our family would be so boring without her smile and laughter. LOVE YOU SHAWNTELL.
