We went to Inkom, Idaho for the weekend.  My brother-in-law was made the bishop of the ward I grew up in. He is an amazing person and will do a great job.

This definitely makes my top 10 list of things I hate to do...go to the Dr.

After to days visit...it just moved up to my top 5...grrrr.

Time well spent...

 Miss.S and I went on a date last night. Time well spent..

...going to listen to some music...

...to Mr. Benton Paul...

...singing along to all the songs we know...

...time spent...checking out Benton's shoes (I thought they were cool, Miss.S did not)

...time for a picture we took ourselves...

...and time for a picture someone else took :)

...the time we got home last night...

Yes, it was all time well spent!!!

A Recipe for a Happy Marriage

I found this today and just had to let you guys read it...so cute! (p.s. it may show up in one of my R.S lessons...I got dibs on it, no one else in my ward is allowed to use it :)

1 cup consideration

2 cups flattery, carefully concealed

2 cups milk of human kindness

1 gallon faith in God and each other

1 reasonable budget, mixed with a generous dash of cooperation

1 cup each, confidence and encouragement

2 cups praise

1 small pinch in-laws

3 tsp. pure extract of "I'm sorry"

1 cup contentment

1 large or 2 small hobbies

1 cup of blindness to other's faults

For extra flavor, add recreation and a dash of happy memories.  Stir well and remove any specks of  jealousy, temper or criticism. If you like a sweeter product, add a generous portion of Love.  Keep warm with a steady flame of devotion.  Never serve with a cold shoulder or hot tongue.  Add to the recipe the presence and love of God and you have quite a home.

Lets be honest, who needs to see another picture of me, blah! So I am doing the self portrait with words instead of with a visual picture...sounds good to me :)

These are words I would use to portray me:

February picture a day #8...Sun

The sun was having a hard time shining today. So I took a picture of one of my other "sunshine's".

Miss.K turned 6 today. She is such a wonderful part of our family. She keeps me on my toes...from telling me she can't wait to be 16 so she can kiss a boy, to telling me that I really should dress more "girlie". She is my shadow most days. She goes to Kindergarten 1/2 day, but I help out in her class all the time. It will be strange to have her in full day school this fall. Love my big girl!

(funny side note: I see my self in her mirror, taking her picture :)
