Question of the day. How many bags does it take to get to Korea?
Well apparently they only let you take 6...but man are they stuffed :)
Shawn and I had the opportunity to drop off his parents at the Missionary Training Center this morning. They will be serving an LDS mission for 18 months in Dejeon, Korea.
The last time I was here was to drop off my younger brother as he went to the Manila, Philippines mission. It has been a few years, and they have changed a few things. They no longer have the new missionary and their family come inside and have a little devotional and then say your good byes. They had us drop his parents off at the front door to go inside and get a packet full of info. We were instructed to pull into a parking spot and wait. They pointed to the closest one and said "you can park in President Monson's spot, he is rarely here on Mondays." So of course I had to get a picture of the Prophets parking spot!!!
After Shawn's parents got their packet we drove over to a parking garage where a load of young missionaries took their bags to their room for them.
They looked so young...just babies!
They are official looking with their name tags!
A few pictures before we drove away :(
They will do a great job representing the church over in Korea...missing them already.
