We do funny things...and it's ok

When you have been married a while you start to find every date you go on being "THE EXACT SAME" every time. You end up in ruts and that's when you need to add a little excitement to your dates. So how do we do that? I'll show you our latest adventure.

Shawn printed off a map of 5 miles surrounding our home. Then he pinned it up to a tree and I shot an air soft gun at that map!

 It took me 3 shots before I actually hit the map (guess I need more practice).

 The tree made a wet spot on our map :( But if you look really close you will see a small hole...just lower then the #121. 

These are the rules.

1. Drive to this location

2. Find a restaurant that is closest to that spot.

3. If there is more than 1 restaurant you get to choose.

4. It has to be some place we have never eaten before.

5. Pray we don't get food poisoning.

So, where did we end up...A place called Scaddy's. Just for your info, if you are dyslexic you would have read Scabby's...a little disgusting I know!

 

From the outside it looks pretty Innocent

 The first thing we noticed when we walked in was that the sign on the wall was peeling off...not good!

 They did have cute little signs on the wall...this one read "Betty Boop, Bathing Suits...they fit just right."

This is what we ordered...typical of Shawn and I...he got a huge Hamburger and fries...I got Swedish filled pancakes. It was ok...nothing so fabulous that we HAVE to go back there. It was kind of expensive honestly. This was over $22 :/ Not really worth that in my opinion. 

But what did we learn: I can shoot an air soft gun...it is fun to randomly eat at strange places...and we are thankful we didn't get food poisoning haha. It was a fun date...and we will definitely do this kind of thing again.
