Do you remember the family adventures we decided to do? Click HERE if you forgot about them:) We only have 5 years to get them done :)
Well we finished #5 on the list...Get elbow to elbow over a 1000 piece puzzle.
I found this puzzle of Salt Lake at the DI for $2...I was just hoping and praying that all the pieces were there. No fears, they were all present :) Here is how it looked during the process.
It turned into a little bit of an obsession. Every time some one would walk by it they had to find at least 1 piece. The kids really got into it. It was a fun project and we might even do it again some day.
We decided to frame it. It's now hanging in the basement :)
On to another adventure!

That's awesome! My grandparents always had a puzzle on their card table that they were working on. So anytime we would visit, we had to see if we could make a piece fit. As a little kid it always made me sooo excited if I could get one to fit. How fun!
I love puzzles! I just don't have the flat space to do it anymore. I absolutely love the SL pic and framing it is a great idea.
How cool that you got it at the DI and I love that you framed it so you can always remember that family adventure!
