Girls night out

What is a typical "Girls Night Out?"  Well, we (my sisters, my sister-in-law, my mother, and her sister) get together and do something fun. It usually includes food of some sort.

This time we went to my Aunts house and she feed us dinner...it was amazing! How did I not get a picture?? Oops..I will do better next time. Then we went to "The Distinguished Young Women" (formally known as "Americas Junior Miss") scholarship program at my old high school.

We got a little bored for it to start...so we took pictures:

Mom and my Aunt

My sister-in-law and her sweet new baby

This sweet baby loved having her picture taken...although this picture doesn't quite show it :)

And one more picture of the baby.

The program was amazing...very talented, smart, beautiful girls. But while we waited for the judges to make their decision on the winner we found friends to take pictures with...

This is my good friend Sabrina. We went to school together...all 13 years :)

Then I saw one of my favorite people, Doyle Peterson, he is like a second father to me!

And his wife, Pam. She was my Hostess Mom when I participated in Jr. Miss (the lady that helps you prepare for your interview, makes sure your talent is up to par, attends all the rehearsals, makes sure your # is pinned in the right place, and countless other things. They are priceless.) I love these guys! They have kids the same age as my family, we celebrated countless New Years Eves with them, and they have influenced me for good, more then they probably know.

Then we did "The sister" photo...Jennifer was a Hostess mom for one of the participants so she didn't get to go to dinner with us or hang out as much as we would have liked...but her girl did take 2nd alternate, so that made it all worth it.

Then of course Shelley and I wanted to pretend that our hair styles were awesome enough to be on Pinterest...so someone needs to Pin these photos, haha.

Yep, we are awesome!

Then the judges came back and picked the winner. It was a fun night! Then I had to drive home at 1:30am...not fun.
