American West Heritage Center

This weekend we went up to Logan, Utah and spent some time with my sister and her family. We went to the American West Heritage Center, it was Baby Animal Days. Funny thing is, we only saw the baby bears...we did other stuff instead of waiting in the long lines to see the other baby animals, haha. They had a candy cannon, an old western gunfight, a grease pole, and the Lil Buckaroo Rodeo. To be in the rodeo you had to weigh under 80 lbs...so only the youngest 2 did it. The video is posted below...it was the highlight of the day, so much fun.

Mr. A trying to climb the greased pole...there was money at the top :)

Can you see the white stuff at the top? It is grease, and the money is stuck in it. The boys loved climbing that thing. My sisters boy climbed it at least 20 times. Her 2nd son even ripped of a piece of one of the $'s. The pole was probably 20 feet in the air.

And you all know where ever I go I need a treat :) This is a funnel cake with regular old strawberries and whipping creme...it was delish...

And this work of art would be a funnel cake "Boston Creme Pie" style, or as my sister called it "A funnel cake on STEROIDS".

And yes....I ate the WHOLE thing...OK, I really didn't, I shared it with my family...how nice of me:)

All in all the day was great, definitely something we will do again. Thanks for inviting us to come up Shelley :)
