Remodel Part: 4 (my favorite remodel)

The Bedroom!!!
I bought this amazing bed set at Bed Bath and Beyond when they were having a Presidents Day sale. I used a 20% off coupon, the curtains were in the clearance section for $9.99 originally $69. The paint was also $5 off per gallon. SO...the whole remodel (excluding the carpet ) was under $250!!!

This picture above was a throw blanket that came with the bed set. Not really very useful. It wasn't thick or warm and not very long. So I put it to good use.

This is my cedar chest. The fabric doesn't really match. So I took the material from the throw and turned it into a new cover.

Then I have this dresser runner (?) and it didn't match so I made a new one.

That one was so easy to make. Then lastly I made a runner for our big dresser with the leftover fabric. It is pieced together but I think it turned out fine.

This is how the room looks now.

Once again I need to put up some decorations. I was thinking some fun lettering....still not sure. I'll keep you posted.
