Look at that home grown goodness! Yes I actually got out the pressure cooker. My mother-in-law gave it to me when they moved 9 years ago, this is the first time I have used it. I must admit it was a little scary to use. And then we couldn't get the lid off when they were done cooking. I truly thought I was going to have to throw the whole thing away with the green beans still inside. And in 30 years when the pressure finally released someone would find this treasure of canned green beans. They took a lot of effort to make so you will have to be pretty special to be allowed to eat them, seeings how it took 2 hours to make 4 pints.

Woohoo! You are the domestic queen in my book. They're gorgeous, by the way.
That's hilarious about the pressure!
I am so impressed! I have a whole shelf of canning stuff that I don't know how to use. Every time I think about learning, I decide it is too big of a project. And you basement looks wonderful! Where do you guys get all of your energy?
Good job. You are one up on me. I can grow the stuff, but can it that is another thing all together.
They look delicious! I never even thought of canning green beans. :)
Way to go Kristy! I have one of those pressure cookers that my mom gave me and it scares me to use it too. We have only done apples and tomatoes oh and peaches but it is so much easier to just buy the cans when they go on sale, haha! I guess knowing how to do it when you have to is the key. . .
You are one awesome woman, even though it was I who got the lid off. It's okay that you didn't mention that, I still love you.
Look at you, Martha! Making us all look bad. You are my domestic idol.
